Earth Rhythms or Nature Patterns are primordial to mankind, in this sense they are trans-cultural in their significance. Psychologists suggest that the effect of such earth rhythms on the mind derives from their association with certain forms in nature (for instance resembling flesh, animals, birds, dragons, etc). And although interpretations of such earth rhythms may differ from person to person, they are always vehicles of Divine Grace.

The spectacular sandstone colour-bands of white, gold, orange, red and mauve at Petra, belong to the Cambrian Age (540 to 488 million years ago). The colours were formed by the rhythmic deposition of various elements and compounds from mineral-rich water that once flowed within the rocks.
The Cambrian period marks an important phase in the history of life on earth; it is the time when most of the major animal groups first appeared. In this respect the Cambrian period is like the womb which conceived Earth-beings, or the Silsal (Clay) from which our flesh took form.
